Come Celebrate! Karen’s 2tiny Gallery Grand Opening — September 4, 12–7 PM

My fellow photographer and printmaker Karen McClure has been talking about opening her own gallery for quiiite a while now (more than a year?). Finally, after many, many trials and tribulations, not to mention a whole lotta hard work and dedication, the 2tiny gallery that she and her partner Kimberly Crawford have created is ready for its ✨grand opening✨!

The gallery is a cozy, neat little space with an antique pressed tin ceiling, covered with the patina of time and full of character. It is conveniently located in the heart of historic downtown Brenham, next to the picturesque Toubin Park - a colorful urban oasis featuring a historic cistern.

The inaugural exhibition New Adventures will feature curated works from nine artists:

The works are diverse in both style and medium from color darkroom photography, black & white darkroom photography, screen printing, reductive relief printing, to abstract, representational, mixed-media, collaged, and encaustic paintings.

The grand opening is Friday, September 4th, 12-7 PM. Come celebrate with us!

I’ll be there from 4-5 PM for a Meet the Artist session.

The exhibition will be on view from September 4 through October 31, coinciding partly with the Round Top Antiques Fair.
